About Us
The Day family has been in the Plymouth and Wayzata areas for over 150 years, starting as farmers and into many other trades in the area.
In the early 1900s, my grandfather's father-in-law (who was also a Day) was building many homes in the Plymouth and Wayzata area. When my Grandpa was old enough, he began working on the homes. Grandpa started and ran the plumbing shop until 1968, when he passed away.
My uncle ran the shop until 1976 and my dad ran the shop until 1986.
When he wanted to slow down, I started my own plumbing company. My dad and I worked together until he retired in 1996. Since that time, we have grown / shrunk and reshaped ourselves, always keeping in mind that the client has problems that we can solve with the knowledge that we have gained over the last 60 years.
I can still call my Dad for the oldest of questions.
